VR kitchen

Challenge

One of our clients wanted to showcase their product in a way that’s interactive and efficient. The requirement was concise – communication is the most authentic part of any project and theirs should convey the same message with the right tone and voice. Once a customer decides to invest in their product, they should experience a unique way of storytelling through 3D modelling and virtual reality.

Solution

We took an innovative approach and created a VR application for the customers who visited the showroom. We selected and prepared a part of the client’s space for an immersive VR experience. Using the application, customers can quickly and easily choose the desired kitchen layout and by selecting the pre-defined elements, create the kitchen they want. The VR application contains all the available elements, materials, appliances and accessories that our client offers.

Result

Through our VR app, the client received a new form of communication with their customers, which drastically reduced the possibility of misunderstanding during the project initialization. This led to more project initiations. Leading them to find comprehensive yet simplified ways of selling the product. It leaves no space for confusion and mismanagement, which
is exactly what our client wanted.

Fort de chillon – gamification

Challenge

Our client, Fort de Chillon, wanted us to create a simulating environment using the latest technology. They wanted to transform a Swiss military bunker into a public museum for users to experience it like never before. The concept of the museum was to create an interactive activity in which a visitor will be actively involved in these surroundings to feel how it was at the time when bunkers were actively used for defense purposes.

Solution

A Swiss military bunker has many parts attached to it and our approach was to present all exhibition segments as a separate story. Each segment was divided and conquered using a unique methodology, which helped make all of their different projects. For a user, it’s essential to understand every part of a story, otherwise what’s even the point to invest their time and money in a game! We strongly second that and made an interactive setup for the users.

Result

We created 7 different interactive games (activations) for the museum visitors to play or interact with, to entertain themselves on their journey through the Bunker Museum. They are:

Holocube visitors interact with a Holocube 2D in the former soldier’s sleeping area. Each time the visitor opens the Holobox, a different object appears.

VR Zone consists of 3 games, which are all about survival. Some games are based on the actual positions within the museum.

The Soldier Dressup goal is to dress up the soldier and place objects in the proper place in a certain way and all that needs to be finished in the same amount of time.

Holobox 3D The idea of this game is to enable visitors to interact with the objects for a better understanding of the soldier’s life.

Boat Shooter The game is set up on the console, with 3 screens. The goal of the game is to make the best possible tactic and destroy the enemy.

Commander Game enables players to do a strategic combination of the tactics and to protect the bunker in the best possible way from the enemies.

VR Cinema players are in a 3D scanned interior parts of the Bunker, and standing in a munitions room. In front of them, there are real and virtual buttons, starting buttons for different activations.

VR in real estate

Challenge

Our client wanted to showcase the USP of working with them and how their team can design the house of people’s dreams. It was all about finding a way to improve the communication between the interior design studio and its customers. The goal was to enable the visualization of their customers’ future projects and keep the creative essence alive while doing so.

Solution

We took it from there and worked on designing a 3D modelling video to replicate their ideas. It helped us and our client explore new depths of different angles, which ultimately facilitated the customers to judge and invest accordingly. We created a VP application which provided an insight into the desired customer’s space which is the project objective. It enables the customer to implement the changes (object positions, flooring and wall colours, furniture material, texture and colours, etc) and experience their effect in real-time.

Result

Instead of multiple renders, technical drawings and complex documentation, the customers can get almost a real feeling of their space and implement the wanted changes without a time delay. The 3D video makes them feel like they are a part of a particular
apartment and can take a tour at their leisure.

Maxbet – Employee training

Challenge

From punching in for work to exploring the workplace and its various arenas, an employee training video supported by VR is what our client expected. We were on board with the idea and just like them, we also wanted to give a modern spin to the whole experience of an employee’s first day at work. Our goal was to introduce the job applicants to the processes and the workflow through a simulating VR environment so that later on, they can be assessed on how they apply the learned procedures.

Solution

Incorporating VR technology into the training process was our first step. We created a VR app for HTC Vive to provide interactive audio and visual content, which simulates every single process and realistic situation the candidate needs to pass. The application is implemented in the real-life work environment and the inventory that the potential employees are going to work with.

Result

The hiring process had been expedited and the employees have a better understanding of the workflow, which enables them to start working independently. This is exactly why we need technology and innovative ways to minimize the effort and time spent on a single employee when they can learn on their own. And hey, it’s more enjoyable too!

„If I could be a hero“ VR Education

Challenge

Technology is a blessing and trouble in disguise. While it has made us more creative and independent, it has also restricted us in certain ways. When it comes to gaming, most animated and 3D games can only be played indoors, creating a barrier for children to explore the world outside. Enters Auxilium Association! The brand wanted to inspire the children to be more active outdoors and educate them about healthy habits, environmental protection and polite behavior.

Solution

The project was both insightful and challenging at the same time. We decided to include virtual reality games in the educational process, which would enable the children to learn while playing games. The idea was to create different virtual environments which would form a unique learning surrounding. Each of the locations had a different infrastructure, and characteristics for a part of the city: active traffic lights, street crossings with moving cars around, grocery shops, etc., which children can interact with.
Thus, making their gaming time more collaborative.

Result

All of the research and requirements helped us form concise data that led to the creation of a VR game. It was designed to encourage children to eat healthy food, increase physical activity and gain consciousness about the importance of environmental
protection.

Onyx – 3D interactive wall

Challenge

Our client wanted us to create a large interactive wall in a corporate building that will present the information which is affected by changing, external input. This wall will be changing constantly as and when information appears. It needed to be accurate and reliable, without the interference of any external elements. BOM Solutions takes pride in creating next-gen technology and products that are under the umbrella of digital advances.

Solution

We combined all the elements mentioned above and created an application that uses various APIs and controls the visuals on the wall with gathered data in real-time. The data affecting the visuals is the current outside weather and the number, movement and
position of the people in the hall. The screen can show different information depending on the visitor’s request. It became one of the most powerful assets for our clients and separated them from the herd in a seamless manner. We kept the approach minimal but also futuristic.

Result

The project was a success as we presented an attractive visual element in the atrium that engages the visitors and leaves a memorable impression while also providing useful information. It also gave us a chance to combine art and technology to
conceptualise something far bigger than just entertainment.

Interactive House

Challenge

Physical 3D models have become a thing of the past and our challenge for this client was to provide a different solution for innovatively presenting the architectural projects – using technology to establish the brand. Not just the structure, it’s essential
to figure out how the house is going to look once it’s done, along with its aesthetics. With these 3D interactive models, it becomes much easier for our client to inspect the design and take necessary actions. It needed to be pleasing to the eyes but also spectacular in its intricacies.

Solution

We created a digital and interactive 3D model of the architectural project with the ability to present all the aspects of the design.

It also came with the possibility to easily change features, choosing from a variety of materials. The goal was to build a house according to a customer’s expectations, which can also be easily modified as per their needs. The improved control over every detail ensures that we are delivering what we promised to our clients. As estimated, it turned out to be a success.

Result

Instead of multiple renders, technical drawings and complex documentation, the customers can get almost a real feeling of their space and implement the wanted changes without a time delay. The 3D video makes them feel like they are a part of a particular
apartment and can take a tour at their leisure.

3D interactive game

Challenge

Among so many games already available online, it was a tough task to create something completely new and inimitable. We had to create an interactive on-spot game in which the user can interact with the virtual space using physical objects. The game aims to entertain the users by providing them with the opportunity to win the game and get a reward. The gamification should be intuitive and easy to play, with the programmed system behind running all the logic.

Solution

We did the required research and came up with a prototype consisting development and core programming of the entire game.
It was then converted into a presentation after we created the algorithm that makes the winning randomized and not affected
by a combination of cubes. Ultimately, we designed 3D modelling of the game segments and animated them in Unity software after which users could grasp the required knowledge and play this game the way they want to.

Result

Our client had a vision in mind when they approached us and our job was to create an interactive on-spot game with all the visual elements corresponding with their branding. We treated each element separately and evaluated what would make this experience extraordinary, while also making the game exceptional.

Medela – prototype

Challenge

A machine like Medela comes with detailing and functioning that only an expert can comprehend. Thus, when this product needed detailing through video simulation, our job was to go through each section and pick out variables to make a 3D video. Showcasing the product prototype with all the functionalities and visual characteristics was our goal and also the biggest roadblock since it had multiple utilities.

Solution

Considering the nature and scalability of Medela, we decided to create a 3D model of the product. On top of that, we incorporated an interactive video with an added “explode” feature. This feature enables the preview of all the parts and general functioning of the product. Once a user sees the explosion of services, they can figure out how the machine performs with all its parts in place.

Result

The biggest advantage of such 3D simulation and modelling videos is that the client can show this presentation to their target customers, without having to carry the product with them. This gives them an edge over their competitors. We delivered a 3D interactive animation, which they could use for presenting their product, even before the actual production has started.

Formula 1 – AR race

Challenge

According to the latest report by PWC, “Virtual and augmented reality could deliver a £1.4trillion boost to the global economy by 2030.” Thus, businesses these days require progressive solutions to stand out from the crowd and be their own competition.
Our goal was to explore new opportunities in the Augmented Reality field and measure its impact on business improvement- the innovation in the field of hardware and software.

Solution

While AR has donned many hats already, we decided to rule out a few possibilities. Our team went ahead and tested different ways of interacting with the application and how AR can be used to enhance the live broadcasting experience. Since technologies such as AR and VR are becoming big economic boosters, it’s only fair for us to maximize their potential and discover all the industries that could benefit from them.

Result

We filtered out quite a few layers and added the element of AR to achieve desired goals. Our idea of applying voice commands to control the movement of the objects, changing the physical characteristics of the objects displayed in AR with virtual buttons and presenting real-time data for an immersive experience of live sports events was surely a success.

LoveBridge – Metaverse

Challenge

There’s no dearth of innovation and one of them is LoveBridge, where love locks never disappear. Since a lot of locations in the real world are being renovated and prohibited for certain purposes, our client came up with the concept of presenting more than 37,000 photographs and 37,000 digital assets as NFTs on a never-ending bridge- LoveBridge. They required that NFTs should be
listed on OpenSea and displayed on the LoveBridge. Sounds like a cakewalk but it wasn’t.

Solution

The virtual bridge will act as a virtual gallery, displaying all the NFTs. To achieve the never-ending effect, we developed a system for a procedurally generated 3D environment based on the user’s position (as the user is walking on the bridge, the elements gradually appear in front of him, while the ones behind him disappear).

Each of the NFTs has its designated ID and position on the bridge, where it can be seen by any other passing user, including the owner.

Result

We designed a LoveBridge Metaverse that showcases more than 70,000 NTFs with the ability for users to buy spaces on the bridge, upload their own NFTs and list them for sale. This ecosystem is a great way to demonstrate all the digital assets while keeping alive the essence of the brand.

Deltaque interactive system

Challenge

The client needed to show the functioning of a large and complex system so that he could present it to potential customers and explain the purpose of its implementation in the wastewater treatment industry. Since our client’s system is so enormous, we were required to animate everything, including all the elements that contribute to making this water treatment plant a success. That doesn’t sound easy, right? It wasn’t.

Solution

Our mission was to visualize a difficult system and present it in a 3D interactive animation. Each segment of the process was modelled in 3D and explained in detail so that the process becomes a kind of easy seminar for those who do not know this subject. Through the interactive features, it is possible to see how the different parameters affect the final level of water purity,
maximizing the disintegration of polluted parts.

Result

The client is now able to present a highly complex system in an amusing way, which is also simple to remember. This 3D interactive video animation is an excellent sales and marketing tool, displaying how Deltacque improves the performance of a treatment plant. This in turn helped the brand become more prominent in the industry and acquire target customers.
