Challenge

The client needed a scalable, efficient, and realistic method to train and assess job candidates for specific workplace roles. Traditional recruitment processes lacked the ability to:
  • Accurately simulate real work conditions
  • Evaluate candidate behavior in practical scenarios
  • Standardize the evaluation process across all applicants
The goal was to create a modern training tool that could immerse candidates in lifelike job tasks while collecting measurable data on their performance.

Our Solution

We developed a Virtual Reality (VR) training application for the HTC Vive, focused on realistic scenario-based assessments.
Key features of the solution:
  • Real-world Environment Simulation
    A 3D replica of the actual workplace was created using spatial references and inventory scans. Every element – from layout to objects – was modeled to reflect real conditions.
  • Interactive Scenarios
    Job-specific situations were scripted based on client-provided challenges. Candidates navigate and interact with these scenarios using VR controllers, simulating real decision-making and task performance.
  • Performance Tracking & Data Collection
    Each user’s actions are tracked and stored in an external database. Metrics such as task success rate, response times, and behavioral patterns are recorded.
  • Automated Evaluation Reports
    After each session, the system generates a comprehensive performance report. This report enables HR staff to objectively assess candidate suitability based on data, not just impressions.
